Primary Program
The primary program at Cornerstone Montessori, LLC serves children ages 3 to 6 years and the environment is filled with scientifically designed manipulatives to prepare young learners for Kindergarten and beyond. Children receive individual or small group practical life, sensorial, writing, reading and math lessons, and are introduced to cultural and science studies. Children navigate social relationships and perform self-care tasks independently. The daily routine includes free play, circle time, snack time, work time, literature, music, art, outdoor play, and more. The classroom community is governed by simple ground rules and redirection is firm, but kind.
